Prices start at $2500.00 for the complete fuel system kit witch includes a 1000 CFM 4 barrel throttle body , and high pressure pump, -6 lines , return style regulator , and ECU.
This single throttle body system can handle 600 horsepower. Dual throttle bodies can handle 1200 H.P. .
Installation labor times may vary , but most systems install in approx. 12 to 15 hours, @ the posted labor rate of $90.00 per hour.
Additional time may be need to install a return fitting to gas tank or fuel cell , and to install an oxygen sensor bung to exhaust system.
Required parts to run the system are :
A. 12 volt charging system including a good battery.
B. A good clean tach output signal from either an MSD box or HEI ignition system.
C. At least a single 4 barrel intake manifold with 4150 flange.
D. A place to install a coolant temp sensor , intake manifold or cylinder head.
E. A minimum of a 5 gallon fuel tank or fuel cell to avoid fuel starvation
and fuel aeration from the return line.
This system is for gasoline only , non leaded race fuels are acceptable, if leaded fuel is used it will reduce the life of the O2 sensor.
This is the first install of the FAST XFI System , it is on a 1973 Chevy Camaro with a 383 small block with an Edelbrock intake manifold and Headers.
